Shuttle Service

To help make your life easier, Dundee Automotive offers a free local shuttle service. Dropping off your vehicle off for repairs or service can be an inconvenience. We will gladly help and drive you to your home or work place if you’re local. Our goal is to make the process as streamlined and easy on you as possible.

Free Courtesy Inspections

Have a warning light, noise or problem with your car, give us a call. We will happily set a time for you to drop by to have it checked out. We will spend 5 or 10 minutes with you at no charge so we can try to assess your vehicle’s needs and help make an action plan on when we can get it fixed.

A LITTLE ABOUT US

Having developed considerable expertise working in car dealerships over several years, Randy Klemm purchased the building and business at 417 E. Main Street in East Dundee in September of 2003. Soon after Randy was joined in the business with his two sons, Greg and Tim, both of who had also worked extensively at various dealerships throughout Chicagoland. Shortly after opening, due to a serious injury sustained in an automobile crash, Tim was unable to continue in the business. Randy split his time between the business and helping Tim recover while Greg kept the business operating. Over the past 15-years, Dundee Automotive has employed only a handful of experienced technicians, insuring consistency in the high quality of repairs for its customers. Quality repairs and maintenance and dedication to a high level of honest service, is what has led Dundee Automotive to be one of the most trusted repair facilities in the northwest suburbs.

In early 2017, Dundee Automotive began an extensive exterior remodeling project that was completed in November of 2017. Preserving the charm of the 60+ year old building was a priority. Now with the new façade, complete with white and pewter painted aluminum paneling, new windows and doors, and outdoor blue gooseneck LED lighting, the building has retained it’s retro look, mixed with a bit of a modern, minimalist feel.
